this is my 200th post, according to blogger :)
weekend was good. in a way. i'll def rmbr the nice parts only :)
started off our weekends with fri steamboat. thanks ah, for helping me spend the money in my ezlink so fast. haha okay okay i know its not ur fault. we didnt know that u cant eat steamboat in marina bay anymore either. okay im telling u guys so know u know. dont go to marina bay and take 400 and hope to end up at the steamboat place!!!! its closed. indefinitely. kinda sad coz i havent eaten there for a long time and i will miss eating there. and hiding the drinks under e table and drinking like fugitives and all. oh well. so in e end after one big round and many mrt rides we ended up eating our steamboat in bugis. steamboat was nice :):):) i love e balls. haha even tho caroline stuffed so many at me i ate all of them!! and cld still do with more. haha balls rock ;)
so caroline got to claim her winnings that night. drinks were on me man. act it was only 6 bottles but tiefu still had to carry it ard in his bag and i still had to pay for them. haha nvm a bet is a bet is a bet. what shall we bet on next?! hmm i think gambling is a bad habit. but it gives us sth to look forward to no? how our bets turn out.....even though we had to wait many months to see e outcome of this bet. but it was worth it for the 8 bottles no? haha. betting on long term stuff more fun. coz u really get to wait and see and hope and sometimes new stuff happens that changes ur bet. haha or sometimes u can get damn confident and bet on the bet. like what we did too :)
sat was nice too. we finally got to eat at the vivo marche. without queuing! haha. no soft shell crab tho. i miss that! den we went to the botanic gardens to watch the sph concert. haha but we were late and the place was damn far away so we only managed to catch a few songs. and it was in chinese and by a band ive never even seen before la. oh well. nvm take it as exercise. for someone as lazy as me. a little walking is always good ;) no mosquitoes tho, that was good. den we went back to town to get some dinner. and buy some stuff for my colleagues. and we saw this girl singing outside wisma. as in with a mike and a few players and all. shes really pretty. and her voice was really good la! singing outside wisma is like abit wasting her talent. haha.
sat night was scary. maybe its because its night. dunno why but i always feel shitty at night. haha maybe its the darkness. yeah ming, everyone else has sunlight at night and only you get the darkness and the moon. HAHA. its still okay when im outside. but when im at home den it starts to get shitty. maybe its coz im alone and free to think my random thoughts. oh well. its just sth that happens.
and today was the slackest sunday in a long time man. after church i went to eat prata with my family. den we tried to find st anne's church to go for my aunts babys baptism. okay so thats like my cousin's baptism. hmm. anyway we took like one hr to get there coz we cldnt find e place and we didnt have e add and they were alr having mass. at least we got there before e baptism was over tho. haha. after that we came home. and i fell asleep. haha that abt sums up my sunday. fantastic no?

oh and this is my last week at sph. yippeeyippeeeyayy :) i'll miss waking up at 8 and still making it to work only slightly late. i'll miss my colleagues too. but i wont miss my boring job!!! yayy.

wow its been pretty long since i updated. oh well. my com at work is not even close to the internet. i cant even open any page la. haiz. nvm its only two more weeks! den i can change job and hopefully it will be more stimulating...my brain is rotting from keying invoices nonstop la. haha but at least i dont get as many free radicals as eunice ;) but still. please someone give me sth more challenging to do before my brain completely disintegrates.
fri night i finally got to meet joanne and jov after like a really long time! haha. had to ps caroline. sorry dear! i'll make it up to you!! maybe with an extra bottle with the four ure alr gonna get? haha. but e night was fun. i didnt get to buy my shoes but it was fun looking. and catching up! haha. hopefully we'll see more of our ex classmates at fiesta :) seems like forever since i last saw them. coz i always cant seem to go for class outings and stuff. nvm its never too late :)
ytd eunice and i went to check out this damn good place for shopping. shh its a secret. ask me maybe i'll tell you!! haha. or maybe u alr know and we are being slow. whats new?! haha. alot of things to buy but we didnt buy alot. she bought a top and i bought a pair of shorts. didnt get to buy my shoes again! i think i have no yuan fen with shoes can. i give up on e search alr. im gonna go back to urs inc and buy e pair i wanted to buy in e beginning before deciding to be more adventurous. its act e same design as a pair i alr have but im gonna buy a diff colour. i give up on buying shoes alr man. its really super tiring. and super sian when they never have your size anywhere! well for the first time ytd i had a diff prob tho. their sizes were too big for me. it was super shuang trying the size 41 shoes on display. ive never been able to do that before man. coz they never have size 41 shoes on display! it really sucks having big feet. haha. and when i wanted to buy then they said they only have that design in 41. i was like argh. so in e end i didnt get my shoes again. really, being adventurous doesnt pay. haha. at least when it comes to me and shoes. i get it now, urs inc. im coming back to you! shldnt have left in e first place. haha.

todays such a cold day. the water was icy, i swear. not that i went swimming or anything. i washed my hands. haha. sorry but thats cold enough for me. i like cold weather but i dont take well to being cold. does that make sense?
oh well. im so glad carolines blog is up and alive again. felt quite strange when she wasnt updating. like some part of my internet is missing. haha. honestly. maybe its like how we felt in school when either of us didnt go to school. like this huge part of school is missing. or as caroline once put it so aptly, like we forgot to bring our bag! haha. looks like we're stuck tgt for the rest of our lives dear. haha.
the weekends flown by again. and its back to monday again tmr. here we go again. a whole new week to work, to procrastinate, to work, to meet up for dinners, to go shopping, to work, to wake up late and chiong, to work, and basically, another week to work. kinda not looking forward to going to work now. the companys the only thing that keeps me from actually dreading work. at least my colleagues are pretty nice. but work is...............................boring. i think ive never done something so monotonous in my life. i really wonder how people can stay working this kinda job for years and years. time slips by so quickly and before you know it you'll realize that you're old, the wrinkles are showing, and you havent actually done anything substantial with your life. thats what im afraid of actually. reminds me of the simple plan song i posted recently.

oh well. its easy to sit at my com and write about procrastination. but its actually really difficult to stand up and break the monotony of life and do something about it. its quite hard to wake the lets-get-to-it spirit now man. it feels like its dormant or something. or missing in action. haha. maybe i left it behind in school. hope i find it again soon though. haha. this week shld be a pretty short week though, with cny. but this year i cant really seem to find the enthusiasm of cny. i havent even bought any clothes. thats really quite rare for me. normally any festive season is a season for new clothes, esp one like cny. but i havent really seen anything i'd really like to buy. or maybe its just jadedness setting in again. oh well. we'll see how it goes. i did buy a container of pineapple tarts though :):):) no prizes for guessing my all time fav cny food. haha.
